Participant Registration Experience

This article explains what participants see when they access your program. Understanding the participant experience helps you design a clear and effective registration flow.

How Participants Access the Program

Participants typically access your program through:

  • An email invitation
  • A shared program link

Once they open the link, they are taken directly into their personalized registration experience.

What Participants See

Participants only see what is relevant to them.

  • Activities assigned to their group
  • Questions they need to answer
  • Any required steps for registration

Your setup determines exactly what appears.

The Registration Flow

Participants move through a guided process:

  1. Select Attendance – choose activities if applicable
  2. Answer Questions – provide required information
  3. Review and Complete – confirm and finish registration

If payments are required, an additional step will appear.

Incomplete Registration

If a participant does not complete all required steps:

  • Their registration remains incomplete
  • They may be prompted to return and finish

You can send reminders to help participants complete registration.

After Completion

Once registration is complete, participants:

  • See a confirmation screen
  • May receive a confirmation email
  • Can return later to view or update their responses (if allowed)

How Your Setup Affects the Experience

Participant experience is directly shaped by your configuration:

  • Activities determine what participants see
  • Attendance settings determine what they choose
  • Questions determine what information is collected

Review your program from the participant’s perspective to ensure clarity.

Tips for a Better Experience

  • Keep the registration flow simple
  • Only include necessary steps
  • Use clear activity names and descriptions
  • Test the experience before inviting participants
