Copy Activities

Copying an activity allows you to reuse an existing setup within your program. This is useful when creating similar sessions, steps, or tasks without rebuilding them from scratch.


Why Copy Activities

  • Save time when creating similar activities
  • Maintain consistent structure and settings
  • Avoid re-entering questions, descriptions, and configurations

What Gets Copied

When you copy an activity, the following elements are included:

  • Activity type (Schedule, Registration, or Lead)
  • Descriptions and settings
  • Questions and configuration
  • Attendance settings
  • Tags applied to the activity

What Does Not Get Copied

  • Participant responses
  • Attendance selections
  • Assignments

Each copied activity starts fresh for participants.


How to Copy an Activity

  1. Open your program
  2. Go to the Activities tab
  3. Select the activity you want to copy
  4. Choose Copy or Duplicate
  5. Enter a name for the new activity
  6. Save your changes

The new activity will appear alongside your existing activities.


When to Use Activity Copying

  • Creating multiple sessions with similar structure
  • Duplicating registration steps
  • Reusing activity templates within a program

Best Practices

  • Rename copied activities clearly to avoid confusion
  • Review settings after copying
  • Update any details that should differ from the original
