Copy a Program

Copying a program allows you to reuse an existing setup instead of starting from scratch. This is especially useful for recurring programs that follow the same structure each time.

When you copy a program, you duplicate its structure so you can run it again with new participants, dates, or details.

Why Copy a Program

  • Save time by reusing an existing setup
  • Maintain consistency across program runs
  • Avoid rebuilding activities, questions, and settings

What Gets Copied

When you copy a program, the following elements are included:

  • Activities and their structure
  • Questions (program-level and activity-level)
  • Attendance settings
  • Tags applied to activities
  • Program configuration and layout

What Does Not Get Copied

The following items are not included:

  • Participants (groups and people)
  • Responses and registration data
  • Assignments

This ensures each new program starts clean while keeping the structure intact.

How to Copy a Program

  1. Go to your list of programs
  2. Select the program you want to copy
  3. Choose Copy from the available actions
  4. Enter a name for the new program
  5. Confirm the copy

A new program will be created with the same structure as the original.

After Copying a Program

After creating a copy, you should:

  • Update program dates and details
  • Assign the appropriate groups
  • Review activities and settings
  • Invite participants

This ensures your new program is ready for use.

Best Practices for Recurring Programs

  • Use a well-structured program as your starting point
  • Keep naming consistent across program runs
  • Review and refine your template over time

Over time, your copied programs become more efficient and easier to manage.
