Overview

In order to use the Payments feature of Eventene, you must associate a Stripe account with your Eventene account. Eventene uses Stripe to handle all of it's payment transactions. Please note that only the Eventene account Owner can link a Stripe account. 


Linking to Stripe from Account Summary 

There are two ways to link a Stripe account to your Eventene account. The first is from the Account Summary page. Under "Linked Accounts" you will see a section for Stripe. If you have already associated a Stripe account you will see it here. Otherwise, the "Link Stripe" button will appear. Press this button and you will be taken Stripe site where you will need to need to either log in to an existing Stripe account or create a new one by supplying your address, phone, name, bank details, email, and password. Once you are done, press "Authorize access to this account" to finish linking the accounts.



Payments Setup

The other way to link a Stripe account is through the Payments tab of any Event. If you have not yet associated a Stripe account, clicking on the tab will show a message indicating that you need to associate the Stripe account to use Payments. Press "Set up account" at the top right hand corner of the tab. Next, press "Link Stripe" to begin associating the accounts. After you press the button, you will be taken Stripe site where you will need to need to either log in to an existing Stripe account or create a new one by supplying your address, phone, name, bank details, email, and password. Once you are done, press "Authorize access to this account" to finish linking the accounts. 



On the Payments Setup side panel you can also determine whether you or the invitees will pay service fees for purchases.
